New Patient Visit
As a new patient, you’ll receive a comprehensive dental assessment, including:
- A head and neck exam
- An oral cancer screening using ViziLite
- A blood pressure screening
- DIAGNOdent laser cavity detection
- An occlusal (bite) evaluation
- A check of periodontal health
- A dental cleaning
Our comprehensive hygiene program sets us apart from the average dental office. We’re not just checking you in, cleaning your teeth, and checking you out. Instead, we carefully evaluate overall health issues as they relate to your dental health. Why? Because we care about you as a person and your long-term oral and overall wellness.
Dr. Johnessee will analyze the results of his examination and discuss his findings with you to formulate a comprehensive treatment plan. He presents exam results in an easy-to-understand manner to help patients make informed decisions about prospective treatments. After deciding on a course of treatment, you’ll receive education about each procedure prior to your visits.

Dr. Johnessee and our team are committed to helping you achieve the smile you deserve, so we offer a variety of payment options. You may pay for your dental work with check, cash, Discover, Visa, or MasterCard. Payment is accepted in our office or online. We also work with CareCredit to offer low- and no-interest payment plans. Learn more and apply online at the CareCredit website. Other payment arrangements may be made through our financial coordinator. Our office does not participate with any dental insurance plans, however, we will be happy to assist in you filing your claims with you.
